About The Event
After hours, Kind Goods gets transformed into a glowing spa. Low lights, candles lit, soft music, and a pot of herbal tea. Flowers and friends you've never met. After a brief introduction to the history of various tools and modalities, we'll talk products + skin prep, test out different serums, toners, and oils, then follow a step by step routine for the face and neck using swedish massage techniques, gua sha tools, and stretches. Participants will each recieve printed materials for home-use, a serum sample, a hydrating mist, and a gua sha tool made of semi precious stone to take with them after the workshop is over.
So much of what we are on the outside is what we are on the inside. Join us as we attend to both in this infomative, lifting experience.
Kind Goods owner Michelle Barrett graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute in 2007, and has over a decade of experience in bodywork applications. After providing quality intergrative hands-on work to thousands of bodies, she "retired" as a muscular therapist in 2015 to follow her creative heart. Now, with a renewed interest in self care, and a passion for clean beauty products - she is combining the education and backround of her former career as a wellness professional with her love for skincare to provide a foundational understanding of facial anatomy, self massage applications, safety considerations, and guidence to empower participants in her workshops to take excellent care of themselves.
